In June 2010, after a series of photographs of closing buildings (East London) where a few families were still living surrounded by the cement windows, I started to work on a piece which would illustrate this situation.
In the backyard of one of these buildings, I worked for a few weeks, planning and laying the foundations.
Unfortunately, this piece remains unfinished.
On august 23rd, Police arrived and started to evict everybody, closing down the buiding two weeks before the planned date by the Justice Court. A link to the video of the eviction day is available at the bottom of this page.
