Anywhere else is the entrance of a tunnel dug in the ground of a vacant lot in front of the Al-Mahat-A gallery in Ramallah for the Horizon Exhibition.
As obtaining a visa for a Palestinian is difficult and to some countries impossible, the only way to leave the country seems to be to dig tunnels (border between Egypt and Gaza).
This piece reflects the situation. Even if the exit of this tunnel is unknown, the white, sweet, attractive light spreading out seems to symbolise the hope that an escape to "anywhere else" but here, could mean.
